Please make every effort to attend the class for which you have registered. If you are not sure, please register only when you are sure you can attend on the date selected. I want to continue offering low fees to my students, and I can only accomplish this if I can keep overhead expenses in check. I would like to accurately predict the size of the classroom needed to provide comfortable accommodations for those in attendance, but if you do not show up, I end up paying for empty seats.
Cash only. Checks are not accepted.
I have never canceled a class, but in the event it becomes necessary, every effort will be made to contact the student to make other arrangements. It is very important that I have a phone number where you can be reached.
No refunds or credits will be issued.
If you can not attend because you are ill, or you have a death in the family, please call, or have someone call (703) 759-6786, as soon as practicable, or possible, so that you can be rescheduled at no additional cost. Proof may be required.
There is a $25 reschedule fee for any other reason. The phone is answered from 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. For other times, please leave a message. There will be no further rescheduling after that, and the fee is fully earned.
If you become ill while attending the class and cannot continue, you must notify the instructor of your condition; otherwise, the class fee is fully earned and no credit will be given.
Rescheduling will only be allowed by prepaying for the class, plus a $25 reschedule fee. The class fee and reschedule fee are not refundable if the student fails to show up.
Day of Class
No walk-ins allowed.
To get a certificate of successful completion, you must pass a final test. If you do not get a passing grade, you must be retested. By Virginia DMV mandate, you can be tested once per calendar day. Retests will only be done the day following the class, between 9–10 a.m. or 7–8 p.m. There is a $20 fee for the retest, payable before the retest will be administered.
